Georgia’s 5 Favs: A Shoe Thingy and a New Lip Product

Last week I posted a list of 41 Products That Actually Work According to Pinterest...  This week, one of those products has made my Georgia's 5 Favs list!

1.  e.l.f. Lip Exfoliator -

This was one of the new products that I tried after reading the Pinterest list...  I purchased my lip exfoliator at Walmart and it was $3.  That can't be beat.  And the product really does work!  It leaves your lips soft and smooth!  It smells good, too.

2.  The Wire -

My husband and I have decided to get into a new TV show, I think we've been itching for something since finishing Breaking Bad last year...  So, why not start watching the #1 top rated TV show of all time, according to Entertainment Weekly?  We're only three episodes into the first season, but I'm liking it.  It's a little hard to get into, but I think it's really going to be awesome.  I'll keep you posted...

3.  Simple Nourishing 24 Hour Day/Night Cream -

While I was in Walmart picking up my lip exfoliator, I noticed this Simple lotion.  I've used a couple different Simple products so far and I have loved all of them.  (The toner is great, so is the eye roller and the make-up wipes... ) This lotion is $10 and it's light, but also very hydrating.  It seems like my high priced skin care products from fancy stores are being replaced by Simple products!  They work well and they are SO much cheaper!  Try this lotion if you're looking for a change.

4.  Dr. Scholl's Rub Relief Strips -

I may have stumbled upon a life changing product for women!  The little thingy above is from Dr. Scholl's and it works like a tape dispenser, however, it dispenses a one-sided sticky tape for your shoes!

Mind blown.

A few weeks ago I bought these cute wedges from Old Navy....  Wore them once and got blisters on my baby toe and the back of my heel...

Then I applied the Dr. Scholl's tape...  No more blisters!!  And the tape is thick, so it made the shoes fit a little bit better.  Double score!

I'm in love.

5.  Renault Winery -

I've been to Renault Winery a handful of times, but I have never actually bought any of their wine.  That all changed yesterday.  My dad, who lives in Atlanta, Georgia, had a bottle of Renault Burgundy while vacationing in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.  The bottle was given to him from a friend of his who lives in Belmar, New Jersey.

Does all that make sense??

Anyway, my dad suggested that I buy a few bottles of the Burgundy because it's a good everyday red wine.  So, yesterday I went to Renault and stocked up on the Burgundy.  And on the Sauvignon Blanc, the Chablis, the Fleur de Blanc and a few other! :)

My husband and I tried the Burgundy last night with our dinner and my dad was right!  It was delicious!

We will be trying all the fun wine I bought yesterday as the summer continues!  Renault is a great local New Jersey winery with great food and beautiful scenery.  They offer wine tours and tastings, a golf course and a fantastic restaurant.  Stop by sometime.
