Georgia’s 5 Favs: Christmas Goodies and a Few Other Things That I’m Into This Week!
Christmas is in just three short weeks! I can't believe it! So, let's get down and dirty with another round of Georgia's 5 Favs!
1. My second Stitch Fix -
My first Stitch Fix was a complete success, so I was pumped when I received my second box. This one didn't hit it out of the park like the first one, but I did end up keeping the shirt above. It's a sheer brown shirt with a navy chevron pattern and it's very flattering. I almost kept the bracelets below too...
The great thing about Stitch Fix is that it forces me to try clothing and accessories that I would never pick out for myself. I would have never picked up that shirt in a store, but I really like it. The other items in the box were a teal pair of skinny jeans (they weren't skinny enough for me - I need them skin tight!), a maroon henley shirt that was cute, but I wasn't crazy about the fit and finally a shift dress with a funky pattern. It wasn't a great color for me and the fit was a little too shifty... My next Stitch Fix is scheduled for the end of December. I'm sure you will see what I receive in another Georgia's 5 Favs!
Mmmmm, these little Hershey's Kisses taste delicious! And they are only around during the holiday season! Grab a bag before they're all gone.
I made these cookies for Thanksgiving and they were a big hit! They are chewy and citrus-y (I added extra orange zest). I love Lidia Bastianich, I love everything she makes, so if I'm searching for my inner Italian, I always pull out one of her recipes. By the way, rumor has it that Philadelphia is getting an Eataly.... I REALLY want that to happen!
My love for these books and movies just keeps growing stronger and stronger. I loved all of the books, with Catching Fire being my favorite. So I was super excited to see the second movie. I've seen it twice. And I would see it again if offered. :)
My husband and I have stolen the tradition of drinking Frangelico and coffee from his cousin Rob. Rob always gets up really early on Christmas morning and starts his day with a few cups of strong coffee with just a splash of Frangelico. We did it on Thanksgiving and we plan to have a cup on Christmas morning too! It's a delicious way to start your day off! I mean, does it get better than Hazelnut coffee? With a kick? I think not.
So there you go! Comment below if you have any fun new products, recipes, workouts, etc! I will check them out and possibly feature it here on Georgia’s 5 Favs!
