Spring begins early tomorrow morning at 1:14 AM.

Of course, most of us are saying, "what winter?"  It looks like we'll be ending the winter of 2011-2012 with having received only 4.3 inches of snow, which is about a foot of snow less than what we typically get in a winter here in South Jersey.  Since we've already had numerous days with temperatures in the 70s and Easter flowers started popping out of the ground in early February, most of us are already quite used to spring.  And, except for a "cold" week in early April, even the Old Farmers Almanac says you can put away the snow blowers and snow shovels.

Even the ocean temperature is above normal for this time of year: the water temperature off of Cape May is 54 degrees, well above the average of 42 for March.
