Hamilton Township Police Searching for Armed Bank Robbery Suspect

Hamilton Township police continue to look for a suspect following an armed bank robbery in Mays Landing Saturday afternoon.

Around 2:30 Saturday afternoon, Hamilton Township police responded to the Ocean City Home Bank on Route 40 in Mays Landing for a report of a bank robbery. The suspect was armed and brandished a handgun at bank tellers while demanding money. Nobody was injured as a result of the armed robbery. The suspect left the bank with an undetermined amount of cash.
