A man from Hammonton was killed Monday night in a motorcycle crash in Mullica Township.

The Mullica Township Police Department says they were called to Nesco Road near Richards Avenue around 8:30 Monday night for the report of a man down in the roadway. When officers arrived, they found 54-year-old Alfred Torres of Hammonton lying the roadway, deceased from severe head trauma.

An investigation revealed that Torres was driving a motorcycle, and for an unknown reason, he lost control and was thrown from the bike. Cops say they found the motorcycle about 100 yards from where Torres.
