Here’s the Man Who Allegedly Broke Into Your Car in Absecon

Police in Absecon have made an arrest after numerous reports of car break-ins.

The burglaries were reported early Tuesday morning along Coolidge Avenue.

It turns out one resident's video surveillance system captured footage of the alleged suspect.

Benny J. Ward, 28, of Pleasantville, is accused of being responsible for the burglaries on Coolidge Avenue, as well as similar burglaries on Pennsylvania Avenue back in September.

Ward was charged with several counts of burglary, theft and criminal mischief. He's being held in the Atlantic County Justice Facility in lieu of $40,500 bail.
