How Much Is Atlantic City Paying Blake Shelton?

Blake Shelton is doing a free beach concert in Atlantic City on Thursday, July 31st - but, he's not doing it for free.

The Atlantic City Alliance is, no doubt, paying some major money to bring in Shelton to perform the show. They're also paying for Lady Antebellum to perform a free beach concert on August 3rd.

Both shows are free - although concert goers will need tickets.

There's no way of knowing how much the Atlantic City Alliance is paying Blake Shelton and Lady Antebellum without seeing the contracts. I did ask Allliance officials how much they were paying Shelton, but they declined, other than to say, " a lot."

There is a website, however, that reports "accurate" information on how much it costs to book your favorite musical act. The site, priceonomics.com, lists the price of hiring Blake Shelton at between $250,000 and $400,000. The price for Lady Antebellum? The same.

These costs only are for performing fees. Other costs, including production, transportation, and security would not be included.
