Hunter Hayes fans can finally get their ears on some new music. On Sept. 9 — Hayes' 25th birthday — the singer made three new tracks available for streaming via SoundCloud.

The songs include an upbeat, fresh-start anthem called "Yesterday’s Song," an introspective gospel-infused track called “Amen” and an no-holds barred, country-rock tune called “Young Blood.” All three reflect Hayes' growing maturity, not only in his vocals and lyrics, but his musical proficiency. Of course, the multi-instrumentalist's guitar solos are masterful, but the production and composition of each song are a testament to his true talent.

Hayes has been teasing short clips of “Amen” and “Yesterday’s Song" on Twitter and letting fans know the new music was coming soon. He says he had set a goal to release new music by his birthday, and while it wasn’t an official release for purchase, he concludes that streaming still counts.

“I’m so impatient,” he writes on Twitter.

The singer-songwriter has been busy supporting his home state of Louisiana, which has been recovering from devastating floods in recent weeks. Hayes performed as a part of the Louisiana Rising concert to raise funds for flood relief and has been on tour this summer playing festivals, as well as headlining shows. He recently appeared with pop-R&B star Tori Kelly at her Nashville show to perform his hit “Wanted” alongside his former America’s Most Talented Kid castmate.

No word yet on when a full album will be released, but if the rest of the songs are as good as these three, Hayes fans are in for a treat.
