I’m Either a Nice Guy or a Stupid Idiot – Help Me Decide

You would have thought I wore white after Labor Day or something.

When it happened, my co-worker freaked out.

A couple weeks ago, my co-worker was in my car with me as I stopped for gas at a Wawa. After completing the fill up, the attendant came to my window for the cash payment - and, I gave him an extra dollar.

"Joe Kelly!" My co-worker exclaimed, "What was THAT?"

"Uh, I just tipped the guy a dollar. I always tip the gas station guy a dollar. Don't you?"

She preceded to shake her head, and post her comments about my madness on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.

Am I wrong to be tipping a dollar for gas? I thought I've been nice - or, have I just been stupid.
