Following two beach concerts where people were paying up to $50 to park in casino garages, visitors traveling to Atlantic City for the annual Thunder Over the Boardwalk airshow next week will have many inexpensive parking options to pick from.

The Casino Reinvestment Development Authority says The Wave parking garage at Mississippi and Fairmount Avenues (at the foot of the Atlantic City Expressway) will feature rates of $7 for up to eight hours and $10 after eight hours during the airshow. The surface lot across the street from that garage will have $10 parking from 8AM to 8PM.

If you don't want to drive into the city, a $20 park and ride option will be available on the Atlantic City Expressway’s surface lot just past the Pleasantville toll plaza. Shuttles will run continuously between the lot and the Boardwalk at Indiana Avenue from 9AM until 5PM.

You can also park at Bader Field -- a $20 Jitney park and ride option will be available there, with shuttles running from 9AM to 4:30PM.

24-hour garage parking will also be available at the New York Avenue between Atlantic and Pacific Avenues.  Rates on the day of the airshow are between $3 and $7.

Much like during the Blake Shelton and Lady Antebellum beach concerts, each casino will determine the price for parking in their own private garage.
