Joe Kelly Talks With Kenny Chesney About Wildwood

I had the opportunity to spend some time with Kenny Chesney Saturday as he was getting ready to go on stage at Lincoln Financial Field for his "Brothers of the Sun" Tour performance.

We talked a lot about Wildwood.

Chesney said he actually spent part of Friday in Wildwood. (Did you see him?) It was his first trip to the South Jersey resort, and he said he loved the feel of the whole town.

While there, he and a crew did a couple video shoots that will be used in the live video of the concert. Because of a packed week, it doesn't look like Chesney will be arriving into Wildwood until right up to concert time on Wednesday night.

I talked with Kenny about the vibe  for the show - and, how excited our listeners were to have the opportunity to get tickets.

For the record, I also spent some time with Tim McGraw - and, sorry, but Tim says he is not coming to Wildwood....

I should also mention here that Kenny's representatives wanted me to continue to pass along this plea:   Fans without tickets will not be admitted to the grounds that evening and are discouraged from traveling to the venue.
