The 2014 CMA Awards are upon us, and two of the big-name nominees are getting a jump on the action. Miranda Lambert and Keith Urban will start the day on Wednesday (Nov. 5) by appearing on 'Good Morning America.'

Urban will perform live on the show, while Lambert will join chief meteorologist Ginger Zee and GMA contributor Tim Tebow at the GMA Nashville stage outside the Bridgestone Arena, where the CMA Awards will air live Wednesday night.

“What a great way to kick start the biggest night of the year for country music, by having two of our top nominees jump-start the day on ‘Good Morning America,'" says CMA Chief Executive Officer Sarah Trahern.

The winners of CMA Musical Event of the Year and Music Video of the Year will also be announced during the broadcast.

Lambert and Urban are both nominated for some of the top awards of the evening, including Album of the Year and Entertainer of the Year. Their collaboration on 'We Were Us' is also nominated for Musical Event of the Year. They are slated to perform together on the awards show Wednesday night.
