A Spaghetti Dinner Benefit Fundraiser is being held at the Parkertown Fire House this Sunday, May 20th 3-7 pm for some fun and food; All in support of Brittney Jones. Brittney is a life long resident of Tuckerton/Little Egg area and college student who's trying to pay her way through school, while battling an illness that'll require yet another surgery in June.

Brittney is now in need of another open heart surgery, and yes, we said another. Brittney has been a fighter all her life. At just 11 weeks old, Brittney underwent her first open heart surgery. Then as a freshman in college, Brittney had a fully craniotomy after being diagnosed with a brain tumor. And now, at the age of 25, doctors have discovered that Brittney is in need of a pulmonary valve replacement that will require another open heart surgery.

But these ailments haven't stopped Brittney from following her dreams and attending school, where she is studying towards her Doctoral degree to help people in need, like those who have helped her. Her story is truly inspiring as she has suffered so much and is still looking to give back to the community.

If you're unable to attend the event, you can still make a donation towards Brittney's medical and college funds to help with the financial burden on the GoFundMe set up for her cause.
