Linwood Man Busted on Child Porn Charges

A 31-year-old Linwood man is under arrest, charged with endangering the welfare of children by sharing pornographic images of children via the internet.

According to Acting Atlantic County Prosecutor Diane Ruberton, a 2 week investigation culminated in the arrest of Brian S. Posner, 31, of Linwood. The investigation was conducted by the "Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Computer Crimes Unit, with the assistance of the Linwood Police Department, and the United States Probation Office—Camden, NJ."

Posner was arrested at his home Wednesday, and is being held on $100,00 bail.

Posner was charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child by distributing over the internet “multiple pictures of juvenile females involved in prohibited sexual acts, specifically well over 50 files that depicted females as young as newborns engaged in sexual acts”—a crime of the 2nd degree.

A conviction for a 2nd degree crime carries a potential penalty of 5-10 years of incarceration in New Jersey State Prison.
