Lisa Matassa’s ‘Somebody’s Baby’ – Song Review

Country newcomer Lisa Matassa is from Long Island and brings a mix of pop and rock alongside a booming country voice.  And she happens to be a part of Cat Country 107.3's Partner in Hope Concert!

And guess what?  Lisa Matassa has a new song out!  'Somebody's Baby' is a rocking country tune about a mother and daughter's relationship as the young girl goes off to tackle the world.

Matassa has a wonderful, powerful voice.  And it comes through on her first song.  She also seems very genuine, like she can see her own future letting go of her children.

Here she sings the chorus,

"Cause you're somebody's baby / You're somebody's favorite song to sing / You're somebody's whole wide world / Somebody's everything / And wherever you go hope you know you will always be somebody's baby."
