Police are still looking for the suspect involved in a stabbing at Hamilton Mall Saturday afternoon.

Hamilton Township Police say they were called to the mall just after 2pm Saturday, but the suspect had fled by the time officers arrived.

The suspect is described as a heavy-set black male in his late teen or twenties.

According to police, an "investigation revealed that an altercation occurred in the area of the Kicks USA store.  The physical altercation moved into a common area of the mall where one subject pulled out a box cutter and proceeded to slash the victim numerous times across his body including his head and legs.  The victim sustained deep lacerations and was treated at Atlantic City Medical Center in Galloway and released."
