Local Somers Point Restaurant Closes its Doors

Over the holiday weekend, a sign on Sandi Pointe Bistro's door simply said, "Gone Fishing."

The Somers Point restaurant was a favorite among music lovers, jazz in particular.  Unfortunately, the owners are more than just fishing...  They've closed the doors permanently.

Shore News Today says,

Dan Anderson, the owner of Sandi Pointe reached by phone confirmed that the restaurant would not reopen. They served their last regular meal the weekend prior on Sunday, May 21.

“Economically we could just not hang in any longer,” said Anderson. Tuesday, May 24.

Sandi Pointe's Facebook page is still alive, though the last post was from March 7th.
