For this ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, you're going to need A LOT of water!

Lucy the Elephant, the world's largest elephant, will be doing her part to raise awareness and funds for the fight against ALS. She'll be participating in the Ice Water Bucket Challenge today at 1pm, at her home in Margate.

For Lucy to complete the task, she's going to need a lot of help - and, a lot of water. The Margate City Fire Department will be lending their help in the event, open to the public.

There's actually a good reason Lucy is taking part in the challenge, according to Rich Helfant, CEO of Lucy the Elephant: “In 2012, we lost one of our volunteers, Diane Riportella, to ALS.  The Ice Challenge has become a National phenomenon and if we can honor Diane’s memory, we are honored to."
