Luke Bryan heads to the lake in his video for "Sunrise, Sunburn, Sunset." On the latest single off his album What Makes You Country, the Georgia native gets nostalgic as he sings of a summer in his youth that he spent by the pier.

"Your daddy had a lake house / He had me paint in that summer sophomore year / Said I could stay for free / A couple buddies, a couple weeks," Bryan sings at the song's start.

Filmed in June on Dale Hollow Lake at the Sunset Marina & Resort outside of Nashville, "Sunrise, Sunburn, Sunset" was directed by Michael Monaco. The nearly four-minute clip follows a group of friends as they head to the pier to spend the day on the lake. The picturesque scenery further highlights the song's summer vibe as the cameras capture Bryan singing at sunset, with a breathtaking view of the lake in the background.

The majority of the video focuses on a young couple as they spend July by the water with a group of friends. Whether they're jumping off the boat into the water, floating on rafts or stealing kisses by the lake, their love comes alive in the video alongside Bryan's heartfelt singing.

“Sunrise, Sunburn, Sunset” was written by Zach Crowell, Ryan Hurd and Chase McGill, and is the follow up to Bryan's 20th career No. 1 single, “Most People Are Good.” Fans can hear the singer perform the song throughout his current What Makes You Country Tour XL Stadium Sized, which runs through October.
