Macy’s to Close 35 to 40 Stores in Early 2016

Macy's says it will close a lot of stores across the country in early 2016.

It could be as much as 5% of their stores.  Though it hasn't selected all of the stores that will be closed, it's sure to affect you or someone you know.  Employees at the locations that will close will be offered positions at nearby locations and workers who get laid off will be offered a severance package.

They've already closed my GAP, don't take my Macy's too!

Btw, my husband would tell you that I could probably keep Macy's in business by myself...
