Man Dies In Police Shooting in Little Egg Harbor

Little Egg Harbor police responded to a call concerning a suicidal man late Tuesday morning.The Press of Atlantic City reports, a 47-year-old resident of the Royal Timbers apartment complex was shot and killed after a dispute with police around 11:35 AM.

According to the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office, a knife was also involved in the altercation with police.  The shooting is being investigated by the Ocean County Sheriff's CSI and the Ocean County prosecutor's major crimes unit.  Check back for more information as it becomes available.
