Margate Bridge To Be Closed A Few Hours Today

Atlantic City Electric reports that the Margate Bridge will be closed for a few hours today.

Crews must replace a broken pole which was damaged by a storm this past Sunday.According to Atlantic City Electric officials, the storm damaged a utility pole which is located adjacent to the bridge that spans Whirlpool Channel along the causeway.

The bridge is expected to be closed for a minimum of 4 hours, between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., provided there are no unexpected problems during the pole replacement.

Alternate routes include the Longport Bridge.... or travel into Atlantic City to the north.
