May is Mental Heath Month.  Nearly one out of every five adults in the U.S. will experience a mental health issue at some point. They affect more than 40 million Americans and it is important for us to remember that mental illnesses are medical conditions,  just like cancer, heart disease or diabetes. Would you tell someone with those diseases to  "just get over it" or "you'll be okay"?  You would most likely advise them to get treatment.  Seeking help for mental health issues such as depression, panic attacks or even addiction, is not a sign of weakness.  It is a sign of strength. Robin Stoloff talks with a mental health expert in her weekly program, Living Well on Lite Rock 96.9 WFPG FM. Catch the program every Sunday 9-11am.
