Mays Landing Man Arrested for Narcotics Distribution

When police pull you over and immediately smell marijuana when they approach your vehicle, it's probably not going to turn out well for you.

Police in Hamilton Township say they stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation, and that's exactly what happened. After a quick investigation on-scene, officers arrested Matthew Gonzalez, 26, of Mays Landing. In his possession, they found marijuana, Oxycontin pills, and over $3,000 in cash.

Gonzalez is charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession with the intent to distribute. He's being held in the Atlantic Country Jail.
