Mays Landing Middle School Graduation Marred By Fight

A local middle school graduation ended up with a fight, and a local man sitting in a jail cell.

Police in Hamilton Township say an arrest was made after a fight following graduation ceremonies at William Davies Middle School.  A 19-year-old man suffered a laceration to his arm, and needed to be taken by ambulance to the hospital to be treated.

Arrested was Garry Williams, 33, of Mays Landing was charged with 2nd degree Aggravated Assault with Injury, 3rd degree Aggravated Assault with a Weapon and 3rd degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose.

Williams is being held in the Atlantic County Jail on $50,000 full cash bond.
