Just two years into his Major League Baseball Career, Millville's Mike Trout is a finalist for the American League Most Valuable Player Trophy - for the second straight year.

The only thing standing in Trout's way of winning? The person who also won the MVP title last year: Miguel Cabrera of the Detroit Tigers.

Three players had their names announced yesterday as finalists for this year's AL MVP. Besides Trout and Cabrera, Chris Davis of the Baltimore Orioles was also named. The winner of the award will be announced next Thursday.

Trout plays for the Los Angeles Angels.
