Actresses Reese Witherspoon and Sofia Vergara introduced Milestone Award winner Miranda Lambert at the 50th Annual ACM Awards Sunday night (April 19).

"I love Texas because everyone else here also has a great accent!" the Colombian-born Vergara declared as she stood in front of the packed audience in a shimmering dress.

"It's also the birthplace of Miranda Lambert, who was so kind to write a song for our new movie," Witherspoon added.

Lambert wrote a song for Witherspoon and Vergara's upcoming comedy, Hot Pursuit. The comedy follows an unskilled police office who must protect a drug dealer's widow from criminals and dirty cops alike.

After being introduced, Lambert performed "Little Red Wagon" and "Mama's Broken Heart" in front of the packed audience. She wore tight black jeans with silver jewels and a red and black strapless corset top.

Lambert has won 19 ACM Awards in the past, including five consecutive Female Vocalist of the Year awards. In addition, she has received more honors for Song of the Year than any solo artist.

"I just want to say thank you so much for allowing me to live my dream," Lambert said as Witherspoon and Vergara presented her with the award. With tears in her eyes, the country star thanked Jesus and her fans.
