Just two days after a missing Lower Township man's car was found 150 miles from his home, authorities say they believe he is alive and has been to at least two states outside New Jersey, according to published reports.

Authorities say Carl Suit's tan 2013 Kia Soul was found locked in a the Little Man parking garage in Hoboken Saturday. On Monday, Hoboken Police Chief Kenneth Ferrante told NJ Advance Media that authorities believe Suit is alive and they know of at least two states he's visited since his disappearance. Ferrante told the website that a resident recognized Suit's car from pictures on social media.

Suit’s family and friends have continuously posted on social media in an attempt to track him down. He has been spotted as far away as Denver, Colorado, his wife said on Facebook. Prior to that, he had also been seen in New York City, just a few miles from where his car was found.

Lauren Suit and other supporters have also started a Facebook page titled Missing/Endangered: Carl Suit. They regularly post pictures and updates on sightings of both Carl and his vehicle. More than 3,000 people have already “liked” the page. Searchers are also using the hashtag #FindingCarl.

Police are asking anyone with information about Carl Suit’s whereabouts, or who may have seen him, to call the Lower Township Police Department at 609-886-2711. In addition, Suit's family has hired private investigator Kevin Ryan to help with the search. he can also be reached with information at 610-592-4262, according to the Facebook page.
