The time of my trip in  to work in the morning just got doubled, or tripled.

I'm living in Road Construction Hell!

One of the nice things about going to work at 4am is that there is no traffic. I live in Egg Harbor Township, and my commute to our studios in Northfield takes me about 7 minutes.

Thanks to construction, that commute time is now a lot longer.

After weeks of warning, the eastbound lane of Mill Road between Spruce Street and Fire Road in EHT has been shut down --- for what looks like at least six months! It's all part of the revamping of the Fire Road and Mill Road intersection.

Hopefully, this tricky intersection, when it's completed, will make a smoother commute for thousands who must navigate the area every day. (Hopefully, it will be a lot more successful than EHT's Airport Circle....)

This is actually just one of several construction projects that seem to surround my world right now.  Probably the bigggest is the widening of the Garden State Parkway between exits 36 and 38 - which isn't expected to be completed until, gulp, 2018!

How's your commute?
