Last year I tore the meniscus in my knee. Trying to get a free train ticket by doing 30 squats would not be a great feeling for me.

You can do it, though, if you venture to Russia.

The City of Moscow and the Russian Olympic Committee have installed a new tickets machine in one of the area's subway stations. It gives out a ticket in exchange for 30 squats.

It's all part of a campaign to increase awareness of the upcoming 2014 Winter Games in Sochi, and to promote a healthier lifestyle.

30 squats for a free vanilla milkshake? I'd risk the knee pain for that....
