As if we needed another reason to hate the Kardashians...

At 8:46 this morning, most national news outlets took a break from their regular programming to air a special "moment of silence" from New York City and Washington, D.C., to honor the victims of 9/11. While FOX, CBS, ABC, CNBC and MSNBC went quiet at this time, which was the moment 11 years ago when the first plane hit the Twin Towers, NBC continued on with the 'Today' show, which just so happened to feature an interview with Kris Jenner of 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians.'

To make matters worse, as if that already wasn't a big slap in the face, the subjects under discussion were the upcoming seasons of the E! reality series and Mrs. Jenner's breast implants. Though the network's local affiliates aired the moment of silence, one would think the national coverage would follow suit.

Mediabistro's TV Newser was among the first to realize this heinous act and was later picked up by New York Magazine, who put together a video comparison of all the channels' coverage (the video is below).

What do you think? Check out the video footage comparison below and let us know what you think in the comments.
