Two beer-loving entrepreneurs from New Jersey just upped their business game by $2 million thanks to 'Shark Tank!'

Phil Petracca and David McDonald just wanted their bottled beer to taste like a freshly poured beer from a tap.

So, they started experimenting and came up with Fizzics.

According to NJ.com,

Since a beer's aroma is relayed through compounds in the foam, or head, of the drink, the topper is "critical" to the beer-drinking experience, Petracca says. The key was to recreate that brew-pub type of foam in beer that comes out of cans and bottles. Petracca says he always found the "mouthfeel" of such beer lacking, despite his best efforts to pour the beer at the correct angle.
Using sound waves, the Fizzics tap enhances carbonation and creates a dense foam — "rich, smooth, full-bodiedness," says Petracca, CEO of the Fizzics company. Beer drinkers need only place their can or bottle in the tap's canister and insert a tube to start the process.

The hosts of 'Shark Tank' were so impressed with the invention, all of them were willing to invest!  But it ended up being Mark Cuban and Lori Greiner who teamed up with a $2 million investment and a combined 16.67% equity stake in the business.

Currently one can purchase Fizzics at Brookstone, Amazon and Target.
