Some more of my thoughts on the Chick-Fil-A Controversy.
We're trying to all order lunch here at the radio station. There's 25 of us. In our conference room is a folder with all the take-out menus.....and, lots of folders with all the restaurants'  business plans. We want to make sure the restaurant we choose believes in everything we all believe it. So far, we've been trying to find a place to order from for 4 days with no luck.
A national "Kiss In" is planned today at Chick-Fil-A restaurants nationwide, to show support for gay rights and  marriage equality. As my friend Jessica put it, " I don't care if you are gay or straight...making out in a public place is tacky, disrespectful, and shows no class. The end." Unless, you're plastered drunk, of course....
I'm reminded of the wonderful advertising quote, most often aligned to Phineas T. Barnum: "There's no such thing as bad publicity." I have a feeling Chick-Fil-A's cash registers are continuing to ring this week.
As I mentioned in an earlier blog, I will continue to eat at Chick-Fil-A for this one reason: I like the chicken strips, waffles fries, and vanilla shakes...
