NJ Waitress Pays Cancer Patient’s Tab
A New Jersey waitress has earned a spot in heaven.
Rick Lewallen and his wife don't get out too much thanks to Rick's brain cancer treatments. But they decided to go for a slice the other day and they were greeted with generosity that is rare in a teen, more rare (unfortunately) in the great state of New Jersey...
According to NJ.com, the server that day was not only a friend, but a kind soul who paid for the lunch of someone suffering so much.
When the bill came, instead of a total due, the check included a handwritten note and the tab was paid by their waitress, a 17-year-old Notre Dame High School senior.
"For putting up the biggest fight, this one is on me,'' Daniela Bossi, a longtime family friend, wrote on the bill.
What a gal!! Daniela, you are a wonderful representation of New Jersey!
