On Election Day, not only will Garden State voters cast their ballot for President of the United States, they will also be determining the future of casino gaming in the state.

The No North Jersey Casinos Coalition and the Greater Atlantic City Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Get Out the Vote Rally Thursday morning at 10:30 on the Boardwalk in Atlantic City at Kennedy Plaza, right across from Boardwalk Hall.

This rally is designed to get the word out about the upcoming ballot question that would allow for two casinos to be built in North Jersey.

Guest speakers will include Chamber President Joe Kelly, Atlantic City Mayor Don Guardian, Resorts Atlantic City President Mark Giannantonio, Local 54 President Bob McDevitt, Trenton’s Bad Bet Executive Director Bill Cortese, and Debra DiLorenzo, President of the Southern New Jersey Chamber of Commerce and chairperson of the No North Jersey Casinos Coalition.

In a press release, Greater Atlantic City Chamber of Commerce President Joe Kelly said, "There is growing opposition to this fundamentally flawed and thoroughly misguided ballot measure, which, if approved, would have a devastating effect on the Atlantic City region, South Jersey and the state."

There is no charge to attend the rally and free parking will be available at Boardwalk Hall for the event.
