Ocean County Judge Asks Victim If She ‘Tried Closing Her Legs’

This isn't the first time Ocean County's Superior Judge John F. Russo has been under fire for the way he manages his court room.

Once barred from the bench in 2017, he's now under fire and being charged with misconduct after making suggestive comments to a woman who was requesting a restraining order against a man who sexually assaulted her. According to the court transcript provided to Buzzfeed News, the conversation went as follows:

This naturally didn't go over well in the court room, where the panel is saying that Russo has violated ethical judicial conduct. But again, this wouldn't be the first time Russo has had an outburst in the courtroom...check out Russo's court room history here.  According to Russo's attorney, this matter will be taken to a public hearing.  But until then, social media will continue to flare:
