59-year old Walter Gibbs allegedly sold heroin to a fellow resident who eventually overdosed at a Manahawkin nursing facility.

Gibbs was arrested on December 30th after Stafford Twp. Police responded to a report that a woman had overdosed at the Manahawkin Nursing and Rehab facility off Route 72 West, according to Press of Atlantic City.

Officers gave the woman the Narcan antidote to counteract the overdose. She was later taken to Southern Ocean Medical Center. There is no word on her current condition.

A police search of the suspec'ts room at the center turned up nearly two dozen envelopes of heroin. Gibbs was taken into custody and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance with the intent to distribute.
