“Parents of the Year” Arrested for Theft on Beach in North Wildwood

There's nothing quite like it.

You pack the kids in the car, head to the beach, and proceed to......steal from your fellow beach-goers.....

The Press of Atlantic City reports that  a Philadelphia couple was charged Saturday afternoon with stealing from people's bags on the beach - while their kids, ages 12, 9, and 6, were with them.

After receiving calls, police arrived on the beach, where lifeguards had already confronted Kelly Costanzo, 36. She was arrested and taken to the police station - along with the  kids.

The husband, Larry Hall, 39, apparently left the beach right before police arrived. According to The Press,  "he was found at Lincoln and Ocean avenues in Wildwood and was arrested, police said. Police said Hall was in possession of $500 cash and a cell phone that was stolen at the beach."

Police say Costanzo and Hall were both charged with theft and child endangerment. Both were taken to jail and the children were placed in the custody of a relative.

No word on what the parents have planned for their next summer trip!
