Playful Whale Splashes Around Off the Coast of Ocean County [WATCH]

This is so incredibly cool and so incredibly scary!

Scary to be so close to a huge whale and so cool to experience!

According to NJ.com, the teenager that filmed the video initially thought the animal was in distress,

Taylor Schultz, 17, initially thought the whale might be in distress and pulled her watercraft in for a closer look, according to her father John Schultz.

The whale turned out to be fine, and provided crowds on the beach with a show as it churned through the surf.
