Pleasantville Man Charged With Murder of Woman Whose Remains Found in Suitcase

A Pleasantville man has been charged with murder in the death of a woman whose remains were found in a suitcase behind the Shore Mall back in January.

The victim, Tara Rogers Alicea, 30, of Monroeville, was identified several days after her remains were discovered by a hunter.

Following an investigation by the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit, Egg Harbor Township Police, and the FBI, Steven Stallworth, 27, of Pleasantville was arrested yesterday morning.

News of the arrest comes from Atlantic County Prosecutor Jim McClain. No other details are available.
