Just days after a Portuguese man o' war was found in Beach Haven, two of the toxic creatures washed ashore in Avalon.

Portuguese man o' war's are extremely dangerous to humans and pets, even after they are dead.

If you see one - Do not touch it!

According to NJ.com,

The animals, normally seen in tropical and sub-tropical waters, were found on several Shore beaches early this summer.

These creepy creatures are no joke.  I was stung as a child by a very, very, very small man o' war...  It was one of the most painful experiences of my life.
