This week, FEMA has begun a joint federal-state preliminary damage assessment for properties in Atlantic City that were impacted by last month's blizzard. If you sustained damage, here's what to do.

If you have had any damage to your property from last month's blizzard, you can contact Jenny Darnell at the Atlantic City Office of Emergency Management by calling (609) 347-5466 or by email at jdarnell@cityofatlanticcity.org. You will need to provide the city with your name, address, phone number, and a description of the damage.

The city is looking to provide FEMA with an accurate damage report for all Atlantic City properties. According to a press release, city inspectors will be available to assist property owners in documenting their damage.

This damage assessment is only for residents of Atlantic City and only for property that was damaged by the blizzard on January 23rd and 24th.
