Road Work Could Delay Your Travels

Springtime means time for road construction in South Jersey. You might need to give yourself a few extra minutes of traveling time in Somers Point, Margate, and Absecon.

Margate: starting today, May 5th, through the middle of the month, watch for a paving project that is shifting lanes on Ventnor Avenue between Fredericksburg and Monroe Avenues from 7AM to 5PM.

Somers Point: starting this Monday, a detour will be posted on Shore Road between New York and New Jersey Avenues from 7:30 AM to 5PM so Atlantic City Electric can do some work. Expect delays.

Absecon: Road work continues on Pitney Road between West Church and Spruce Streets weekdays from 7AM to 6PM; that's when a detour is in place. During non-working hours, Pitney Road is open. This road improvement project should be finished by the end of May.
