A Cape May County man faces numerous charges after a search warrant was executed at his home - this, after reportedly sharing inappropriate photos of an ex-girlfriend.

According to the Lower Township Police Department, detectives received a report from the North Wildwood Police Department that a woman was at their headquarters complaining about an ex-boyfriend who had been sharing inappropriate photos of her and, several months ago, had pointed a loaded shotgun to her head.

Lower Police detectives then interviewed the woman, and eventually obtained a search warrant.

Police executed the warrant at the North Cape May residence of 46 year-old Ernest “Drew” Paulus the 3rd.

According to a report from police, they detained Paulus and searched his home, seizing a cell phone, a computer, electrical recording devices, plus marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Paulus was transported to police headquarters where he was charged with Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Weapon for Unlawful Purpose, Terroristic Threats, Invasion of Privacy, for recording the images without consent, Invasion of Privacy, for sharing the images, Possession of CDS and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Police say further charges are possible regarding possible steroids that were seized at the home.
