Shots Hit Apartment Complex in Absecon

Police in Absecon responded to a local apartment complex after reports of a shooting.

Oyster Bay Apartments, building #2,  on California Avenue was the scene of the shooting, reported just after 9pm last night. There were no reported injuries.

Police say officer found bullet casings in the parking lot and several impact marks on the building.  They say their initial investigation found that a specific apartment was targeted.

Witnesses report seeing " a short, black male running from the scene before entering a dark colored sedan and fleeing the area."

It was back in middle February that a shooting occurred at another apartment complex in the area.
