Somers Point Submarine Vets Memorial Needs Your Help

Did you know there is a memorial to US Navy Submarine Veterans in Somers Point?

No, me neither.

Yet there it is, right at 502 Bethel Road.

The memorial, featuring a torpedo, is a tribute to those who lost their lives protecting our country, from underneath the water's surface.

According to a local veteran's group. the memorial is in need of some "additional lighting, benches, irrigation and plantings."
