South Jersey Couple Wows With Weight Loss on Biggest Loser Finale
Season 17 of NBC's The Biggest Loser wrapped up with a live finale last night, and a South Jersey couple were among the contestants!
Stephen and Jacky Kmet have been two of my favorite contestants from the start of the season, and I actually didn't even realize it until last night that they're from Jersey!
The couple lives in Hainesport, in Burlington County, and on last night's finale they definitely did NJ proud.
Stephen was among the three finalists up for the $250,000 grand prize, while Jacky was in the running for the $100,000 at-home prize.
**SPOILERS BELOW** Don't read any further if you haven't watched the finale yet.
At the final weigh in, Jacky was up against Luis to win the at-home prize. She went from a starting weight of 304 lbs. down to 187 lbs.!
Unfortunately, her 117 lb. loss was not enough for the money, but she looked AMAZING!
For the grand finale, the final two wound up being Stephen against Luis's twin brother Roberto.
Stephen started the show at 309 lbs., and dropped 133 lbs. to get down to a final weight of 176 lbs.!! (And in doing so, somehow morphed into a Harry Connick Jr. lookalike.)
Total bummer, but Stephen also lost his final weigh in, and the incredibly annoying Roberto was crowned this season's winner.
Whenever I watch the show, I'm so impressed by the progress they make during the season, and how different they look and act at the end.
Stephen and Jacky were a great example of that, and I really loved seeing how truly happy and proud they looked at the end.
That's one smokin' hot couple!
