A 17-year-old junior member of the Elmer Fire Department died after an accident involving his pickup truck.

Fellow firefighters are mourning the loss of Timothy Crim. The Upper Pittsgrove teen, a student at Woodstown High School, reportedly lost control of his vehicle and crashed Sunday while along Jill Road in Pilesgrove, according to NJ.com. No one else was injured.

Elmer Fire Dept. posted an emotional statement to their Facebook page in honor of Crim:

Crim came from a long line of firefighters, including his late father, late grandfather, and his brother, reports Press of Atlantic City.

Our thoughts are with Crim's family, friends, and fellow fire fighters.
