A number of local students are recovering after a pair of South Jersey school buses collided this afternoon.

The Atlantic City Board of Education confirms that the accident happened around 2:30 Tuesday afternoon at Arctic and Morris avenues.

The Press of Atlantic City reports that 3 vehicles were involved in the crash, one bus which struck a van, which in turn collided with another bus.

Traffic was diverted around the scene of the accident. Multiple, minor injuries have been reported (as many as 25 people according to Action News on 6 ABC, The Press of Atlantic City reports 22).

The injured were taken to three different area hospitals, and the school was used a triage. None of the injuries appears to be life-threatening.
