South Jersey Woman Found Beaten to Death in Atlantic City

Authorities are currently investigating a murder that occurred Saturday night in Atlantic City.

Vernell K. Vance, a 56-year-old Atlantic City woman, was found beaten to death behind a building on South Tennessee Avenue in Atlantic City. Her body was found 11:30 PM on Saturday night. An autopsy will be performed today, Monday, to gather more information on cause of death.

As of Monday morning, April 16th, no arrests have been made.
